Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 4 pips lower than the previous fix (6.6321 from 6.6325) and 70 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6391. The basket implied change is 84 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6307 from 6.6391)."
