EUR futures: odds for extra pullbacks appear alleviated

According to advanced figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added almost 5K contracts to their open interest positions on Tuesday from Monday’s final 505,508 contracts. On the other hand, volume dropped for the third consecutive day, this time by around 34.8K contracts.

The downtrend in EUR/USD appears to have found decent contention in the 1.1985/80 band. While rising open interest keeps accompanying the decline, shrinking volume could allow for some respite in the descent, at least in the near term.
