Forex: AUD/USD declines on NFP miss
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - AUD/USD has declined in the immediate reaction to today´s disappointing US Non Farm Payroll numbers.
NFPs registered dramatically missed expectations at 88k/200k, while Unemployment dropped to 7.6% alongside the US Trade Balance ($-43bln). In the initial reaction, AUD/USD spiked to post a high at 1.0436 before declining sharply to post a low at 1.0400. It is currently trading at 1.0407 having retraced higher, having found support at the daily 20 MA. Hourly RSI is at 42 and moving with a gentle downside momentum.
