Forex Flash: BoJ preview - no further policy measures expected - NAB
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The BoJ meeting outcome will be announced later today - between 3.30 and 5.30GMT - though "no further policy measures will be announced so soon after the launch of the ‘QQME’ programme earlier this month" says NAB.
"The meeting comes after yesterday’s weekly MOF portfolio flows data shows Japanese investors sold a further ￥863bn of foreign bonds last week, so again no evidence as yet that life insurers and pension funds have started placing more funds abroad at the expense of domestic JGB holdings" NAB added.
